Hisako Yoshizawa’s paintings are not to be easily categorized. In her work she uses a wide variaty of painting and composition techniques ranging from oil to water color to the Japanese Nihonga style. Building on these traditional styles she enriches them with her original techniques. The viewer is often left wondering what paints she is using.
